Terms of Service

The service

Ourday is a tool for building a wedding website and organizing the planning around it — your guest list, RSVPs, budget, and song requests. We provide it on an ongoing basis and improve it over time, which means features may be added, changed, or removed.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access. You must provide an accurate email address so we can reach you about your account. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.

Your content stays yours

You own the text, photos, and other content you upload to Ourday. You keep all rights to it. You grant us only the permission we need to operate the service — to store your content, display it on your published website, and show it back to you and the collaborators you invite. We do not use your wedding photos in our marketing without asking you first.

What you agree not to do

Ourday is for planning weddings. Please do not:

• Upload content you do not have the rights to, or that is unlawful, hateful, or harassing.
• Use Ourday to send unsolicited bulk email to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or to other people's accounts.
• Resell or redistribute the service as your own product.

Free and Pro plans

The Free plan is available at no cost and requires no payment details. Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel Pro at any time from your settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then reverts to the Free plan. We do not automatically refund partial periods, but if something has gone wrong, email us — we would rather sort it out than argue about it.

Your guests' information

When you add guests or collect RSVPs, you are responsible for handling their information lawfully. Only add people who would reasonably expect to hear from you about your wedding, and only send them messages related to it. We provide an unsubscribe link on guest emails; you agree not to circumvent it.

Ending your account

You can stop using Ourday and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Ourday running reliably, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Your wedding website matters enormously to you, so please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable, such as original photographs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ourday is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ourday after that point means you accept the updated terms.
